School is back in session!
Cole with Grandma Vee on his first day of school!
Cole's first day was COMPLETELY different from his first day last year! He actually walked with a half smile down the hall, knew exactly how to get to his class, walked in and put his stuff up with no crying or tears!
It was so great for me to finally not have a child that is clinging on for dear life and I was actually able to speak to the teacher and tell him goodbye without rushing. It was such a better experience from last year!
Cole's teacher from last year, Mrs. Hagood, moved up to first grade and she requested him again so he got her again for First grade! We are so excited! She's the best!
Not only did Cole have a first day but Cooper started in the half day 3's preschool class this year! And unlike his brother, who cried everyday for a year when he was 3, Cooper had no tears the first day! He was excited to be like his big brother and be going to school!

He did so great his first day. I peeked through the window to see him talking to his friend, Wyatt (who told Cooper he liked his bookbag) and then hang up his bookbag and sit down and color! It was soooo cute!!
Unfortunately, he did not do as great the next few times. He cried a little the next day and then a lot the following day! But I'm thinking it was just that he was tired from the new schedule because he hasn't cried since!
We scheduled Cooper's speech so that he goes there before school. He gets there at 8 o'clock when Cole's school starts. This way he can walk to speech with Cole everyday. It works out perfect to bring them both to Bethel Hanberry at the same time! Marshall drops them off and I pick them up!
Cooper only goes to school about 3 times a week but it's wonderful to have some time to run errands and clean the house!
I am so proud of these 2!
