Disney World- Magic Kingdom

MAGIC KINGDOM- DAY 1
The first day that we were in Disney, we went to the Magic Kingdom. It was a really nice day so we spent the entire day there. We didn't leave until 8:30 and we only left then because we had reservations to eat at a restaurant called Chef Mickey's.
Magic Kingdom has food, rides, main street, and of course the infamous castle! I probably took about 10 different pictures of the castle because it is just so pretty!
While we were at the Magic Kingdom we climbed up into a HUGE treehouse, saw a comedy show by Monster Inc., and even took a train ride! When Marshall was younger he went to Disney World a few times and he remembered going to Tom Sawyer's Island. You take a boat ride across the river to Tom and Huck's secret island where you go into secret caves and passageways, go across bumpy rope bridges, and play games! One thing that I loved about Disney was that my 2 year old could go on practically anything! We had endless options of different rides to take him on. The only problem was that each line took about 45 minutes to an hour! So we picked a few different ones to go on and 'It's a Small World' was one of them. You take a boat ride through this neat display of art and children dancing in different costumes. Here is Marshall and Cole on the boat. The highlight of my day was watching the parade! The parade went around twice while we were there. Once during the day at once at night with all the pretty lights! They had so many different floats with so many different Disney characters including Aladdin, Woody, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Mickey and Minnie, and so many more! At the end of the day we had to leave for dinner! We made dinner reservations at a place called Chef Mickey's! While you eat dinner Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy made their way to your table to meet you and take pictures with you! Cole was so interested at looking at all the different characters that he barely ate! Did I mention it was a buffet? They had so many different desserts that I decided to try each one! Take a look at this spread! This is Marshall's plate after he saw the bill!! We ended the day back at our hotel, The All Star Sports Resort. Cole loved all the different footballs, baseballs, and helmets that you could walk through. He was partial to the football that surrounded the stairs and constantly asked to walk through it. Here is a picture of Marshall and Cole standing inside it!
It was a really fun day and we slept really good that night!
