Max's Shenanigans!

Our Elf, Max, was back this year with plenty of fun toys and new hideouts!  It was just as much fun for me as it was for the boys!  And it was especially fun to see Cooper get excited in the mornings to find him this year!  He'd call out his name as soon as he woke up!

Cole wanting to see where Max was hiding each morning really made it easier for me to get him out of the bed in the morning.  Instead of him lying in the bed, complaining about going to school, he's jump up to try to find Max before anyone else did!  It was great!
Max brought lots more goodies than ever before.  We had fun making clothespin cars, bouncy balls, and putting together foam snowmen this year.  Along with that, Max also brought Cole pj's for his polar express party at school!
Max kept us really entertained this year!
These are just a few of my favorite things Max has done.  We were so sad to see Max go at Christmas,  but these presents around the tree made it easier for them not to see Max Christmas morning!
Cooper asked all December for shark putt putt, a fishing pole, and a watch!  He got them all!  And Cole asked for a Skylanders video game and a robot (he got the dinosaur robot).

Grandma Jones spent the night with us this Christmas and helped the boys open all their gifts!  Cole woke up around 6 but I made him stay in bed until 7:30 because Cooper was still sleeping.  This was the first year that Cole woke up early because he was so excited!  It was really fun to see him like that.  I'm afraid this is the first of many years that we get woken up early on Christmas!

Grandma Jones and I tried to get the boys to sit on Santa's lap this year, and well, you can see how it turned out!
Only Cole was brave enough, Cooper WOULD NOT go anywhere near Santa!  I really don't blame him, I wouldn't want someone to put me on someone else's lap!   Oh well, we'll just have to try again next year!

Merry Christmas!
