10 Months Old!

Cole is officially double digits!!! He turned 10 months old 2 days ago (we still don't have internet hooked up at our new house so that is my excuse for the late post)! Cole has been doing so much lately. He is sooo sooo sooo busy! He hardly ever sits still these days. He is crawling so fast. We call him our speedy bullet. We can barely catch up to him before he starts pulling on wires or climbing up on our fireplace. And of course the more we tell him no-no, the more he wants to do it!

Over the past month Cole has started babbling a lot more. He can say mama and bye-bye. Although bye-bye turns out to be more like bee-bee. But he says it while he waves so we know what he means! And yes, he is waving now!! He waves all the time. It is so stinking cute! Most of the time he waits to wave until after you leave the room but none the less he waves at you! I think that he was flirting with some girls sitting next to us at Olive Garden last night because he kept waving at them and talking to them! It was really funny until we couldn't get him to stop and eat his dinner! Oh well, we see where his priorities lie.

He also has started dancing. He jumps up and down and laughs whenever any music is playing. He has actually fallen over a few times because he has tried to dance while standing up and not holding onto anything. It is so funny!

He also started giving kisses! It is so sweet. He started doing it a little over a month ago and he just leans in (with an open mouth so you are sure to get a nice wet one) and plants one on you! I love it even if I'm covered in saliva afterwards! Over the past couple of weeks he hasn't liked to do it as much but he still does it every once in a while if you ask for a kiss.

And the new thing that I am most proud of is that he is walking all around the house while pushing his walker. No, not walking by himself yet but he is definitely getting there. He just started doing it last week and I think that it is because his cousin Dylan showed him how to do it a couple of weeks ago.

I love that he is so active, but it has gotten him into trouble:

He is not only climbing into cabinets but also the dishwasher! My next project at the house will be baby proofing and installing child locks on all the cabinets and drawers. He is getting to be quite a handful. It is so much fun to see him getting around so quickly. He makes me laugh when he gets into the smallest of places and the weirdest of things. He is really fascinated with Daisy's dog dish so he is always crawling over to get into it. He has actually put dog food in his mouth before! Disgusting Cole!

It has been so fun over the past month. I am so glad that he is more independent now and starting to do things on his own. He seems a lot happier and that makes me so happy.
