The Pumpkin Patch

Today we decided to take Cole and his cousin Katie to a pumpkin patch. And not just to any pumpkin patch. We took them to my old church, Columbia Northeast United Methodist Church. I used to work at this pumpkin patch when I was in high school so it was really neat to bring Cole there and show him off to my old youth pastor.
The pumpkin patch was so cool. There were mini pumpkins and huge pumpkins. There was a little tent for story time and a tent set up for pictures with scarecrows and gourds. I loved the wide variety of pumpkins. They had all different colors pumpkins; green, white, and even orange speckled ones with orange stripes (my mom bought one of those) they were so cool!
Cole and Katie seemed to really enjoy it. Cole would try to pick up the biggest pumpkin he could find with no success. And Katie tried to eat the straw and leaves on the ground. It was really cute. Both Cole and Katie did a good job of walking and holding onto the pumpkins. Everyone thought they were so cute. We left with a few pumpkins and a goody bag filled with pumpkin recipes, stickers, and coloring book pages!
