Cooper turns 3!

Happy Happy Happy 3RD birthday to my Coopey whoopey, super Cooper!  This year has been a whirlwind! It just flies right by, especially when you have two sweet, easy going little boys.  I'm constantly getting compliments on how well behaved they are!  You'd never guess Cooper is only 3 (except that he's so small) because he acts more mature than Marshall sometimes!

Cooper has so many sweet attributes, I want to remember EVERYTHING about Cooper when he gets older, so here's a little checklist I put together about Cooper:

*loves ninja turtles
*never hits other kids (even if he, himself is getting hit)
*loves the cartoon, team umizoomi and asks for it everytime we watch tv
*still pulls my hair when he's sleepy (and yes, it still hurts horribly)
*loves to play the guitar and air guitar
*calls his daddy nana
*a few times a day he stands up real tall to show me how big he is when I call him my baby!
*loves to cuddle, especially in the mornings and grabs my neck and says, "my momma" ; it makes me soo happy
*he is STILL taking speech but I swear, since he turned 3, he has been talking so much more, not a ton, but it has really increased the past month. He is even starting to say short sentences (like 'where did Cole go?')
*he loves to fold his hands and say the blessing.  He normally prays for shark putt or chuck e cheese
*he gets soooo excited if we are going to the pool, lake, putt-putt, jumping jacks, and especially chuck e cheese!
*if you ask him a question he normal answers with an mmm-hmmm, (I think it's the cutest thing ever)
*he's almost never sad...even his temper tantrums are quiet and only last a minute
*stopped taking naps about a month ago

We celebrated his birthday this year by having a ninja turtle pizza party at our house. He seemed to really enjoy all the presents and attention this go around! He is normally so so shy but lately he is starting to play more with friends and aunts and uncles.  He doesn't seem to mind people talking to him as much (he used to just crouch down behind me and be shy).

One thing that hasn't changed about Cooper is how small he is.  Although he is growing, he's still a good inch or two shorter than most kids his age.  I'm really curious to see what his stats are at his next doctor's appointment, I'm guessing they'll still be pretty low in height and weight.  I actually kinda love that he's so small.  I love being able to hold him and snuggle with him so easily.  I wouldn't mind if he stayed this little forever!!

Trying to write down exactly how much I love my kids is so tough.  There are no words.  All I can say is that my life revolves around them, they are ALWAYS on my mind.  Everything I do is for them. While a lot of parents leave their kids with babysitters all the time, my heart just can't handle doing that.  I hardly leave them, I'd just rather them be with me! I never want to be away from them. Do you blame me? Look how cute my baby boy is!

Cooper practiced for about a month before his birthday holding 3 fingers up.  He finally got it about a week before his birthday and he is so proud of himself!  So when anyone asks him how old he is, he immediately sticks up those 3 fingers!

Happy 3rd birthday Cooper! I love you!
